Fun Spring/Summer Swim Lessons

Sign up for swim lessons so your loved ones can enjoy the summer months swimming!
Did you know that you can detect fear in the eyes first? Please provide clear lens goggles for your children for their swim lessons. Clear lens goggles are a must for the beginner or fearful swimmer. Summer is fast approaching, so call Deane Wilson at 779-7529 ext 381 to sign up your love ones for this wonderful activity.
Here are some comments from parents that have their children in our swim program:

Our 4 year old son son has been taking swimming lesson from Miss Deane for 2 1/2 months. He has gone from flailing in the water to swimming the length of the pool 3xs using three different strokes. She is amazing with children. She has been able to bring out the best in Xander - having him work hard in the pool all the while he is laughing and smiling. Every day he asks if he gets to go swimming with Miss Deane. We have taken swim lessons at Rogue Valley YMCA, ABK, Rogue Scuba and Medford Parks and Rec. None of these instructors have come close to providing the level of instruction and enthusiasm Miss Deane provides! She is wonderful! And we highly recommend her to everyone!

Miss Deane has been giving our 2 children (ages 6 & 8) once a week swim lessons for the last 4 months. Within 2 lessons our 6 year old was swimming better than he had after 10 lessons at another facility. Our 8 year old, who could already swim, improved her technique and ability just as quickly.
Miss Deane immediately instilled confidence in our children and set a tone of firmness regarding water safety. The children love their lessons with Miss Deane introducing new ideas and concepts through a variety of methods and games. And sometimes we wonder who is more excited when a challenge is met or a techniques is learned... the children or Miss Deane with her shouts of encouragement and praise?
We would strongly recommend Miss Deane to any parent who would like to see their child develop a sound swimming ability and water safety awareness.

I am amazed, at each lesson, the progress Ava and Bradley are making. At the beginning of the year Bradley had to be coaxed into the water. Now he is swimming 1/2 length of the pool! I can only attribute that to Miss Deane's patience and her enthusiasm. Ava is swimming with confidence (and even grace - a little synchronized swimmer!) I only wish Miss Deane taught pre-school as well.
