"My kids are 7, 4, and 3 and are water safe. In fact, they can swim better than most of their peers. What a relief to know this going into the summer swimming season. I think teaching water safety is imperative with young children. This is exactly what Miss Deane does while teaching young children how to swim. Using kid appropriate language, teaching to each child's strengths, and with consistency, my 3 and 4 year old boys have learned to swim independently. It is comforting for my husband and me to know that our kids are safe while around or in any body of water.

As well as being effective, Miss Deane's teaching program is also flexible. My boys are about a year a half apart and are able to take semi-private lessons together. I am paying the same price for these lessons as I was when they were in separate classes at another facility; definitely more bang for my buck and time. If you are looking for an effective, consistent, and flexible program, look no further, you have found it!

"I enrolled my 5 year old son into swim lessons with Miss Deane 2 times a week. When we started he was very fearful of jumping into the water by himself, putting his head under water or letting go of the teacher without the safety of his arm floats he's been used to using in our pool. We are 9 lessons in so far and he is so exited to go to swim class, swims under water, knows what Miss Deane says when he is told do a penguin swim, a missile or use his turtle arms. It's amazing what he has learn in just that short period of time and I am so thankful that she has taught him the safety of the pool and how to handle himself if he gets into a situation while swimming. We are looking forward to see what else he can continue to do.

Thank you Miss Deane so much for making it possible for Dylan to not be afraid any longer, you are great with kids and have taught him to be independent and have a swimming plan!

  3. My son also was afraid of the water. We couldn't go to the beach or go swimming for the longest time. He finally overcame his fear of water but he still doesn't know how to swim. I need to get him some lessons so that I can trust him to be by himself. http://www.jerseywahoos.org
