Letter from a parent that has relocated from the area.

Worst part about this job is getting attached with my students and they move away.

Here is part of a letter that I received about 2 of my students, Abby and Andrew.

"Both kids are now swimming. Abby just joined the junior swim team in September and absolutely loves it!!! She swims once a week and had her first of three meets right after Thanksgiving. Having not taking a lesson since her last one with you more than two years ago, she finished in the top ten of thirty in her age group in the three strokes she competed in (free, fly and back). The backstroke is here strong stroke. Now she just needs to learn how to jump off the dive board correctly and actually go when they say start! Andrew finally agreed to start classes again and can actually swim a bit on his own. He is now jumping in, swimming to the teacher and then back to the wall. He loves it and will still mention when he was a baby with his old swim teacher. He remembers you being funny.

I don't think I can say it enough, thank you so much for all you did for our kids. Your patience, persistence and obvious love of teaching children to swim created a love for the water and even more importantly, taught them about being safe around water! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Take care,

Lynn (and Paul and Abby and Andrew)"
